Meet Tamara

I am Tamara Zander, a proud small business owner, co-founder of Zander Real Estate Team, and member of the South Valley Chamber of Commerce SJC business committee. As a resident of South Jordan, I understand the importance of supporting local businesses and creating a strong community. That's why I'm passionate about fostering an environment that encourages growth and prosperity for all.

Family is everything to me, and I cherish spending time with my husband Corey, and our three talented sons, daughters-in-law, and precious grandbaby, Wesley. We love paddle boarding around the Oquirrh Lake at Daybreak, riding our e-bikes on trails throughout the state, and traveling to experience other cultures.

I also love connecting with community members through fitness and hiking. I enjoy participating in the SoJo monthly 5K race series and teaching water aerobics at the local Salt Lake County Rec. Center on Redwood Road. I also recently joined the SoJo lady's hiking club and discovered a new hobby in pickleball.

As a City Council Member, I have the honor of meeting incredible residents and officials who share my passion for enhancing South Jordan and the state of Utah. I believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for all.
